Goal Setting (diet social network) To Make Money On The Internet
By Ben Needles
Goals help individuals to focus their energy and to define priorities. Secondly, goals also monitor the performance of certain activities, making it possible to revise and adapt the overall strategy along the way.
Most likely your vision is to have one of the most popular blogs on the entire Internet. You realize you will not achieve it overnight. Therefore, you will need medium-term and short-term goals.
Once you have a set of goals in place it will be much easier to coordinate your actions. State each goal as a positive statement. Be precise, putting in dates, times and attainment. Set priorities so to avoid feeling overwhelmed by too many indirect goals.
In goal setting you need the following: the method of deciding what is important to achieve on the Internet, separating the distractions from your goals, motivating yourself to make money on the Internet and building your self-confidence as you reach your goals.
A useful way of making goals more powerful is to use the SMART mixture. S=Specific M=Measurable A=Attainable R=Relevant T=Time-bound. This can be used as your own road map to fill in by Goal Setting To Make Money On The Internet.
Your goals must be consistent, but also make sense. You must not only believe that you will be able to achieve the goals, but you must also believe that they are important in your life and that they are not conflicting with other values.
If you have a full-time job and a family to care for, it would make little sense to set a goal like to blog at least 6 hours daily. As a blogger there are several parameters that you can use to set goals correctly, and they are:
Traffic, RSS subscribers, number of comments per post/week, Alexa rank, number of pages viewed by each visitor, revenues generated, popularity on social bookmarking sites, Technorati rank, search engine rank positions and popularity online communities.
Remember that your goals will change as time goes on. Adjust them regularly to reflect growth in your knowledge and experience, and if goals do not hold any attractions any longer, then let them go.
Failure to meet goals does not matter as long as you have learned from them. And feed lessons learned back into your goal-setting program. If you learned something that would lead you to change other goals, do so. If they were too easy, make them harder next time.
As you make goals part of your life, youll find your life and career accelerating, and youll wonder how you did without them.

Using Blog Carnivals To Make Money On The Internet
By Ben Needles
Blog carnivals are lists of posts that are published on a blog. By hosting a carnival it can create a post and a link to all of the other posts that were submitted prior to that carnival. This can lead to residual search traffic and increased rankings.
Usually when you get published in a carnival, they will link to both your homepage and your post, giving you an opportunity to get an anchor text link to your homepage. So when you submit to each blog carnival, you get to put your blogs name and URL.
For those of you who are not familiar with blog carnivals, theyre basically a group-writing project hosted by sites as a way of sharing good content and community growth. You can find carnivals relevant to your topic at the log carnival website.
It will walk you through the simple submission form you will need. Next, you submit a post of your own that best fits with the theme of the carnival and from there just follow the simple rules.
Many of the carnivals will publish a new issue each week. Submitting your best article or two each week to as many carnivals as possible will be the most productive way to go because of the timing of carnivals.
I believe you can begin to see that by using blog carnivals it will help you to make money on the Internet. There are carnivals for many different topics; youll have to look through them to find what works with your topic.
Blog carnivals often give you both a link to the post you submit and to your homepage. Also, other bloggers have found my other blog this way and liked it so much that they have added it to their blog roll.
Be warned, there are some carnival hosts who feel that some of the entries could be Spam and will refuse your submission based on the use of a keyword. Make sure your material is high quality and relevant.
The deep linking power comes from the fact that if the host of the carnival likes your submission and accepts it, youll get a link directly to your post. And very often you will get another link to your homepage.
Its not uncommon for authoritative sites to host these carnivals. So there are some quality links to be had it youre willing to do the work of regularly contributing posts to the carnivals in your niche and therefore, making the money you desire on the Internet.
